DOOM SnapMap M1: Here Goes Nothing
3I find this map on storage SnapMap "line in recomandation" and was shocked - this map have good atmosphere and nice design for UAC after demons invation. Enjoy.
"Design" - like you know - I'm fan of atmosphere like Doom 3 and create map with this atmosphere and design, this map is not an exeption. Only look at this - it's really like Doom 3. All in fire, every where deads, blood, candles, sparks. Damn, I love it.
Only this map very short, but on quality this thing affected, it's good. I don't remember - first map or not, but it's really Doom 3.
Ok, watch video and you will understand me. About rates - rate is 9/10. Yes, it's good, but blocking shields on doors and somewhere empty places withour details, it's needed, spoiled rate, but it's good start.
"Gameplay" - it's good, but don't expact for many and many demons. Like I sad - it's Doom 3 and in this game not so big amount of demons was. But it's good, only this shiels... Author can close door and open if you clean area from demons.
In this map you only getting acquainted with demons, so no lot of demons. Like in Doom 3. It's good.
Ok, about rates - rate is 8/10. Yes, good rate. I love Doom 3 and this gameplay good, not all want to kill 1000+ demons, you can look arround and you have places to search for detail and what happened here.
"Atmosphere" - I think I sad all in "Design". Only I can sad again - it's looks good, atmosphere like Doom 3, I love it.
So, rate is 8.5/10. Yes, can be better, but lvl so short... Very good all things, but short as well. However, it's only the begining...
Avarage rate - 8.5/10. Very good for begining. I don't know first or not, but it first map in campaing, if it's campaing. So, if you want atmophere like from Doom 3 or you like my own maps - try this one, it's really good.
