Sadly the ravagers dps is insane so I see little reason to use anything else, at least for now. Heavier weapons still swap too slow even if you shield charge quick swap, so I only did it once at the start and technically at the end, just because I wanted to start phase 2 with impaler already equipped.
Didn't manage to stun lock the guy in phase 2 but it is possible using the impaler/shield throw and abusing the fact that 2 melee hits falter him.
