What happens you combine Brutal Doom with Doom's "Father" Wolfenstein 3D? You get Brutal Wolfenstein, And its an bit different from Brutal Doom but it still contains the gore and violence that makes the mod notorious, It does not feature the fatalities of Brutal Doom but its still an tour-de-force.
The mod re-creates Wolfenstein 3D's 6 episodes while also giving an twist to the classic experience:Enemies are more dangerous now, Officers throw grenades, Some new enemies such as flamethrower troops, and bosses have new dangerous weapons.
You begin with an Pistol and Knife, Over the course of the game, you can get a hold on other weapons including the Flamethrower and grenades, Ammo conservation is important as you have to ensure you take out enemies without losing too much health, Higher difficulties make it even harder to get through levels as you have to dodge grenades more often.
Its hard and I can't get past level 3 of most of the episodes as it is that hard, However I enjoyed the mod as it seems just like Brutal Doom but with an different coat of pain..
