0Now for an wad that is almost 17 Years old but it still is so good, that It was updated three times to reflect on it's status, Paul Corfiatis not only made most of the levels but also composed the entire soundtrack of this wad, That should tell you how much of an legend he is, This mod also was in the top 100 doom wads of all time for 2002.
2002 A Doom Odyssey was released July 24th 2002, The wad has an original story that follows similar to Ultimate Doom's 4 episodes, Here however there are some changes, In addition the levels follow more an "modern" appearance to their levels than the original levels of Ultimate Doom, It also uses an much harder amount of skill as Paul used this wad to test even hardcore veterans.
Do not expect an easy time in this wad, You have to usually find all 3 keys to exit each level, Traps similar to ones from Plutonia Experiment will also be there to get on your nerves, But for an wad that old, 2002 A Doom Odyssey is one of the best megawads I've played.
