So I push on and show off the advanced difficulty that the Chained Court and the Military Base pose when you're playing in a hard difficulty. It's a whole different ball game when Hell Knights and Elite Captains get added to the mix of things for sure!

As for level progression, I save just before the big boss fight against the Bruiser Brothers.
