well it's simple if you think about it in the right way:)
fist of all, you don't have to break the green one.
the paper of the man who dies says, 18 , 6 and Green :)
well this person might have tried to use the green one, and thats why he died because that one activates the spikes:P
but if you combine the yellow and the blue one ( yellow + Blue = Green)
the machine works how you want it to:)
but, i said you dont need to destroy the green one, well thats not completely right:)
well, to dismantle the green one might kinda help you guessing wich one of the gears are the right one:)
i took one piece of the green one( that one with 4 tooth)
the gray one(14 tooth) +4 tooth = 18
and the other piece (it has 6 tooth)
the red one(12 tooth) - 6 tooth = 6 tooth
how i have to put those 3 gears in, i figured out by trying out =D
so the gray, red and (yellow+blue) are the right gears to use:)
