This game is unhinged. It is a really great concept though and I am excited to see where they go with it. We jumped into the single player demo for Shift at Midnight and I wouldn't say it was spectacularly scary or anything, but it was definitely WILD. It is essentially a grocery store simulator mixed with detective level gameplay akin to Contraband Police or the upcoming Quarantine Zone. As customers enter your store you have to determine if they are doppelgangers that might be there to eat you alive. The game is being advertised as a 1-4 player co-op horror game but this demo does not showcase any of the multiplayer gameplay. However, there should be a new demo soon with the multiplayer elements added in. I am very curious to see how that works.
