After Marian was rescued by the Double Dragons in return for her Freedom, this time the Black Warriors retaliate their defeat by killing Marion. The Double Dragons now must avenge her death and defeat the Black Warriors the second and final time.

Played on DOSBOX

Note that this game was being rushed. The port is slightly and only marginal better than the DOS version of the first DD game. Still there's no music. Just sound effects. This game still needs work. Here's a problem. The game is buggy here especially with the enemies. They stick to you like a glue once were a attacked by them. They will repeatedly do that until you lose all your energy and run ouf of lives. The 2-Player Co-op mode was not that helpful either. There are no continues unless you play the game in the cheat mode. I hated Burnov, the giant masked boss. Most of the time, when grabs you he just keeps beating the shit of you until he drains out all your of energy and will do it again until you run of lives. I hated the last level before you face the shadow warriors of clone of Billy and Jimmy. All the enemies like Willy the big boss gunman and the 2 Chin Kung-Fu warriors like ninjas are beating everywhere like in the middle of nowhere. Because of this, it won't give you enough time to pull off any moves and attacks and takes more than half of your energy fast mainly because of the Willy the gunman firing his machine gun so much. It's nearly impossible to beat and also nearly unplayable. it's not like that in the arcade version. I had no choice but to play this game in the cheat mode and enable Jimmy. Note that I didn't have a second player so I had to press the buttons on both my game-pad and the keyboard at the same time to beat the hell of out them so I can fight the clones.Along with the DOS version of DD 1, I personally did not like this port as well and not as good as the arcade version. I'd rather play the arcade, NES, or the PC Engine version.
