This is jus a short comparison between the different MIDI outputs of DOSBox ECE. The file played is the Doom 2 title music played through the following devices, as can be seen in the left window (The DOSBox Status Window) with their default settings:

1. Standard Windows MIDI output (Win32, DOSBox default)
2. MT32emu (emulating a Rolang MT-32 MIDI Synthesizer)
3. Fluidsynth Software Synthesizer (using a 4MB Creative Soundblaster Soundfont)
4. Fluidsynth Software Synthesizer (using a Roland SCC-1 Soundfont)
5. Fluidsynth Software Synthesizer (using a Roland SC-55 Soundfont)
