As you all are most likely aware, Dota 2 has a new mode, the Year Beast Fight! A mode where you take on Nian, the Year Beast! A boss creep who could own Roshan easily. This is a hardcore mode and not as easy as Wraith Night. In addition you do need to grind up at least some Flamesalt ingots from public games, including bot matches though. Flamesalt ingots are converted to gold in the mode. You use to buy everything you can including new items like Force Boots or fireworks to distract the Beast. You all start at level 16 and are on a 25 minutes to do as much damage to it as possible all while staying alive! Do enough and you can earn yourself one of the horse themed Couriers!(Although there are currently way too many on steam market right now so they're not that rare due to day 1 glitches everyone used.)

If every Hero dies, game over!

Once again this was after the patch that fixed easy mode Ursa/Wraith King and Visage's glitch. This time I had did a bit more research and went in with four randoms. We were decently coordinated, just I did have issues micro managing the golems at times, it was sometimes really hard getting them to rez people I do need to map some keys for that. It gets a little overwhelming when someone is telling you to rez them repetitively too.

Still, we got an A-rank on tier 4 and did well considering we weren't a five man pre made but pre-mades are the most likely to rank in and win one of those fancy Year Of The Horse themed couriers!(or you got them off the market since they were dirt cheap at one point and kinda still are)

Necrolyte is also apparently amazing in this mode too and since the New Year is coming back one last time I may attempt him there. Nerco ult works on the beast and even disables it and combines with Fatal Bonds for an insane amount of damage in addition to all the other Heroes attacking it. But let's hope Valve doesn't nerf that either..
