Released only on Japan for Sega Mega Drive in 1991, DDII was a direct adaptation of the Technos Arcade, save for a few differences like srptes being shrunjed down and health theme resembling that of the NES adaptation. Another significant difference is that Stage 2 was completely redesigned from the ground up (literately,) having you climb up a building and pass through multiple conveyor belts before fighting the Boss of that area. The ending also was changed, showing a montage of bosses fought instead.

So in case you were wondering why we had the first and third games without the second, this is why.

The game itself seemed to be buggy, being that every time you defeated a male enemy character, it would freeze and you had to reset it. If you notice on the demo before gameplay, the Lee brothers jump every time an enemy is defeated, this would be a way to avoid said glitch from happening during gameplay. Luckily, I found a ROM which was patched to take care of that annoying bug.
