I am playing the third game from the arcade version of the Double Dragon trilogy. It was made by Technos Japan in 1990.

Billy and Jimmy with Hiruko are travelling to Egypt to find the Rosetta stones in purpose to fight a mysterious person, who is a great threat for the world. Besides the Lee brothers there are three guys, who are helping them: Roney, Masao and Seime.

There is a difference between the US/Worldwide version and a Japanese one. In the US one you can upgrade your hero and add maximally four extra heroes, but every upgrade costs one coin. In the Japanese version there are no extra transactions and you can choose the characters. At the moment I am playing the US one.

The third game was criticized by the gamers and reviewers by several reasons.
First, the animations and motions were very choppy and moving back before turning back is kinda unnecessary to me.
Second, just like I said earlier, you had to pay extra coin for every upgrade. At least in the Japanese version you don't have to do it.

Music and graphics are the only good things in this Double Dragon.
