Double Feature First Play Redone:Haunted Halloween 85 and Halloween Forever
This is a re-take on an old Double Feature video i made a couple of years ago back when i was doing first play videos that were about playing a game for the first time while giving my thoughts on the game in the description. Nothing spectacular,i know. That's why i don't do first play videos anymore. However, when i tried to record Haunted Halloween 85, it was a mess that i shouldn't have even uploaded. Horrible input lag, terrible video quality, the game image freezing and lagging constantly, i just didn't have a good enough equipment to record the game. Now that i have a faster PC, i decided to re-do the Haunted Halloween 85 footage.
About the games:I think Haunted Halloween 85 is ok overall. It's a fairly challenging game with decent music and graphics. If i have to be nitpicky though then i would say that i did have a bit of trouble distinguishing between a background and a foreground object while playing the levels. and i kinda don't like how in some graphics for the levels and cutscenes, all they did was upscale the sprite of the main character Donny when he's shown. i kinda found that lazy and it doesn't make the game have the same quality as an actual NES/Famicom game,bu toh well,it's not a big deal. As for Halloween Forever:It's an average good game as well. From what i remember,i did find the game to be reasonably challenging and fun.
I wish they were available on portable systems cause i belive they're not on any portable device, and i feel like these are the type of games i would like to play on a portable system. Well to be fair, they made a Switch version of Haunted Halloween 85 but i wish these games were also available on the PS Vita. Yes, i know the Vita is kinda dead outside of japan, but i don't think it would be hard to put these games in there as a digital download.
