Double Speed Banjo-Tooie - Final Part: By The Grace of 8BitDo
0It's the finale of Banjo-Tooie with the SUPERBANJO cheat code enabled (as well as two other overpowered cheats) which doubles Banjo's speed most of the time. Now, all that remained going into this stream was my favorite level, Cloud Cuckooland, not too much backtracking and the game's big finale so basically I just did those three things this stream. It's the part of the game where you have all the moves which is fun. Should be longer, really. Also, this stream I was using a brand new 8BitDo 64 controller which, coincidentally, had a turbo button making Canary Mary delightfully easy.
As with the previous two streams I talked about stuff as I went. For a start it was Rare's 40th anniversary (or was it) so there was some talk about that and a tier list of Rare's logos through the years. I also discussed Naked Gun, Takopi's Original Sin, Yooka-Replaylee, Bananza and Retro games but honestly the main topic (aside from Banjo-Tooie) was the Universal Orlando trip I'm going on next week. I'm not sure how much more there is to say about that before I actually go on the damn thing but I'm excited and it does show.
Anyway, this has been a very fun Banjo-Tooie playthrough. In the end 100% of everything was gotten with only some light googling and Nintendo Power players guide consulting required to get it done. I would recommend people who have played Tooie a few times before consider trying it out this way sometime. It's fun and makes most things easier and only a few things oddly harder. Like Guffo.
