I've pre-packaged all files required to make MAX 2 work in modern systems in a single ZIP ready-to-go, simply extract into your game directory (make backups first of course)

LOGIN IS NOT NECESSARY TO DOWNLOAD, simply close the window and the site lets you see the file

Because there are EXE executables inside of the file, you might have to disable your antivirus software... Or you can simply read the INSTRUCTIONS text file and download each individual component individually.

Be advised: some campaign missions are a bit buggy and will not finish even though you succeeded at the objectives... Keep alternate saves and go back a few turns in time. Other times, simply retreat your units from enemy camp, and the mission should finish normally. It's weird, I don't know how they managed to break the game this badly. But it's possible to complete the missions just fine.

Don't mind the weird resolution that is shown in this video.
That was fixed after I recorded the footage.
The game now runs in borderless window mode and keeps the correct 4:3 aspect ratio, no need for manual resizing.
