STEPS BELOW

Please follow these instructions:

Step 1. Position Granite Tunnel of Woe Lv.1 to the bottom of any page (8th Position) in the treasure map menu.
OR if it's the only one you have and at the top of the 1st page.
Select: Go treasure-hunting!
(This will work if it is the ONLY map you have too, i.e. positioned at the top of the first page.
Also the map does NOT need to be cleared/beaten).

Step 2. Head to where I am in the Bowhole dungeon, once you go downstairs you will press:
X X UP X - to open treasure map menu
Press or Spam B - close treasure map menu
Hold UP - to walk up the stairs

[After Screen Transition]

Hold UP-RIGHT - to walk around the torch
Hold DOWN-RIGHT - to carry on walking alongside the bridge to the monster spawn point.

Step 3.

If a LMS appears, position yourself behind it; wait for it to bob twice and then encounter. This will give you a pre-emptive.

If a Sculpture Vulture appears, make your way quickly back to the staircase. If lucky a LMS will spawn, walk around it and encounter from behind for pre-emptive.
