Dragomon Hunter-first look and closed beta impressions
1Dragomon Hunter is a game currently in beta from Aeria Games. If the style and company sound familiar, that's because they are responsible for such games as Eden Eternal, Echo of Soul and more. Aeria tends to be really big on the "anime" or chibi style MMOs. I enjoyed Eden Eternal for some time years ago but eventually dropped it.
Dragomon Hunter will likely appeal to the completionist type person or the collector. If you enjoy games like Monster Hunter and enjoy the aspect of farming something in WoW for a drop, you'll likely enjoy this game. I did actually get one of the shell dudes to drop a mount and it was pretty cool. The game plays more as the action style than say a WoW style with invisible dice rolls in the background. The game features telegraphs from enemies similar to Wildstar and other action RPGs.
