Marvel Avengers Alliance-Special follow-ups and counters
3Hi folks! I wanted to make a video on some of the surprise combinations you can make when you pair certain people up with "berzerk" style talents. These include Sif with her berzerk ISO, Psylocke, Ares and the newest MAA darling-Spitfire.
As you know, Spitfire has a passive called United. This allows everybody on the field to join in on single target attacks. If she attacks while it's up, it pulls her other 2 allies with her. If the agent single target attacks, same thing. Well, some heroes in the game actually follow up with AOE attacks. This is something that can easily be abused and create scenarios where tons of extra damage are put out thanks to this passive.
Heroes like Star-Lord, Gorgon and Shatterstar all follow up with AOE attacks. These attacks do not provoke class benefits or counters when they happen. They also WILL follow up even if the original target dies. Example-if my agent uses the rapier on the enemy agent and he dies, Gorgon will still use his level 2 follow-up. Gorgon is perhaps my favorite team-up of the bunch because of his nice build up with the rising up passive. He provides flanked with one of his moves and 2 of his 4 are considered ground, not melee. While I did say I believe this may pass the hugin's eye in the video, I double checked and found out I was wrong. It will pass the absorb of the elite ISO but the hugin's will still stop this unless staggered. To that effect, I suggest bringing an opportunist or staggered item to battle if you use SpitGon as a team-up. SpitLord brings its own staggered with Star-Lord's level 2. SpitSilver is largely a bad team-up now because both heroes will act before the agent which definitely removes any chance of staggered or mystic removal.
