- 40-45 average FPS in open worlds
- Closed locations like houses or shops or keeps 55-60fps
- All settings on ULTRA (max)
- Latest Nvidia drivers that "supposedly" boost performance in DA:I - 344.75
- Turning down 4xAA - 2xAA increases fps quite a bit. 5-10 fps boost in many cases.

Rig: 3570k oc'd 4.5 ghz
Zotac GTX 970
8 gigs of ram

Side note: Bought in to the review hype and loved DA1...Game is honestly pretty boring. Walk walk walk walk walk, kill 3 enemies....Walk walk walk walk walk...Kill 3 enemies. ~5 hours in, its just not fun. I will play more, because I know 5 hours is a drop in the bucket for these types of games... But one part of me questions: Were the big name reviewers paid off? Why was there no mention of a slow ass start, if it indeed is slow and ramps up later on.

One huge quirk I have is in cut scenes or talking with other people, the lip sync is way way off at times and it can be jaring.

PC performance is very spotty, for what the graphics justify and being a console port it shouldn't be getting 40-45 fps on one of the best graphics card to date. Played games like AC and Shadows of Mordor, which in my opinion look way better than this and had better performance. Tons of pop in, weird blackouts at any given time, frame rate stutters, game freezes for 2-3 seconds then moves on making you wonder if the game is crashing at times. Ugh.

If you want an honest bullshit free impression, just watch Jeff Gerstman's Giant bomb quick look. He doesn't think the game is that great - to that I agree. Combat sucks, its literally spam clicking one button over and over again (playing on hard.) Playing with a controller because mouse and keyboard settings were quite cumbersome.

If you have any questions about the performance itself or the game itself feel free to drop em below! Have a great day! Ill try to after 70 dollars of buyers remorse...
