Dragon Age: Origins Plot Analysis: Part 4
Time to be big, goddamned heroes. Redcliffe Village is perhaps the best part of the game and story. It's a vertical slice using all systems of combat, dialogue, and stats/equipment. It's like a mini-end game scenario, proving to everyone we can fight and win a war against darkspawn. You want all those damn NPCs to survive (and stop running into the goddamn fire!) Too bad it didn't quite help us go after Tim Curry, although it's possible a plot by Loghain did poison Arl Eamon.

(Yeah I'm weird that I like collapsible headsets. They've always lasted much longer than the more expensive, more solid ones, even wireless. Great for travel, too.)

Note: The horde you fight are undead warriors, all due to whatever happened in the castle (gee I wonder if it's magic?) I got this confused with the end of game where Redcliffe gets attacked by the darkspawn. Special thank to Ninaran for pointing this out.
