As everybody knows, Dragon Ball Z is a story that begins with a 5 year old trying to build a spaceship to go to another planet to revive his dead friends, and absolutely nothing of importance happens before that.
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is a recent Action RPG game following the story of the beloved Dragon Ball Z anime. In the game, you play as Goku (except, you barely do, which makes me wonder why he's the title character), otherwise known as Kakarot, a Saiyan who crash landed on Earth and lost him memories of his past, and grew up under the guidance of Master Gohan. The Saiyans are a race of were-monkeys who grew up on a planet named after a vegetable, whose king and price were also name after vegetables. Their planet was mysteriously destroyed, leaving only four survivors. Radish, who is killed off screen and was totally never mentioned in this game, Cabbage, who is also mysteriously killed off screen and was not a huge factor in any way whatsoever as to why none of our friends are here right now, Vegetable, who is still alive and kicking through a miracle that is totally never elaborated on, and Carrot, a suffering amnesiac who grows up to farm more radishes. Quite convenient, since he was the one responsible for that death that he totally had nothing to do with. There's also this one guy with green hair that nobody really cares about too much, and an asparagus, but those aren't canon in this game..... yet.
