Previously, Heorot explored Iridescent Island, an Explorer's Shore. He returned to the Isle of Awakening with a Cow for the Green Gardens and a Merchant for the Pyramid Item Shop.

After resuming, Heorot warps to the Scarlet Sands (time 0:37).

Upon arrival, he reports in to Ordelia (time 1:05). Sidequest complete! She explains that Heorot can sell items simply by placing them on Price Tags. The purchaser will leave behind gratitude points in exchange.

Next, Heorot talks to Dougie for a sidequest (time 2:33). Dougie asks Heorot to set up a minecart track. It requires at least 200 pieces of Track within the Scarlet Sands.

At the builder's workbench, Heorot builds a generous supply of Tracks. He spends 100 gratitude points to learn how to make Crash Carts (time 3:41). He builds a few to go on the minecart tracks. Heorot also builds some Stop Signs.

Outside, Heorot builds a loop of tracks between the Pyramid and the Scarlet Sands tablet.

In the meantime, the townspeople finish building the Pyramid Level 3 blueprint (time 8:12).

Heorot eventually finishes laying the required 200 Tracks (time 9:29). When he has finished the railway, it has a Station at the Pyramid and another at the tablet.

He reports in to Dougie (time 9:41). Sidequest complete!

Heorot reports in to Lulu now that the Pyramid Level 3 blueprint is complete (time 12:08). Errand complete!

For the next errand, Heorot talks to Lulu again (time 12:55). She wants a pinnacle to top off the pyramid. Digby and Dougie will both have ideas for the pinnacle. Heorot chats with each of them to see their idea.

Eventually, Heorot chooses Dougie's idea (time 16:06). He lays out the Pyramid Pinnacle blueprint. The NPCs get started on the construction.

Meanwhile, Heorot builds a front gate for the Pyramid to keep as many monsters out as possible. Then, on the ground level of the Pyramid, he builds a bar in the northeast corner.

In the midst of the work, he makes an Enormous Basic Bar, which requires a Cocktail Counter (time 21:15).

Eventually, he completes an Enormous Well-stocked Bar (time 26:05). This contributes to the objectives to build different types of room on the Isle of Awakening. Unfortunately, putting basic cooking apparatuses in the bar does not seem to do anything. Heorot might make a separate kitchen later.

Heorot also learns how to make a Colossal Coffer for 100 gratitude points (time 27:56). It is not as useful as it was in the original Dragon Quest Builders, but it does offer more storage space than a Community Chest.

The NPCs finish building the Pyramid Pinnacle (time 29:13).

Heorot reports in to Babs (time 30:52). Errand complete! The Scarlet Sands Tablet Target to build the Pyramid is also complete. The Hairy Hermit rewards Heorot with Mini Medal #028. However, the NPCs are justifiably concerned about the Children of Hargon. Maybe another island will have the people and resources to help deal with them. For now, Heorot has to look at the Scarlet Sands tablet again.

Heorot examines the Scarlet Sands tablet (time 36:46). Now that the required targets have been fulfilled, some optional targets now appear. Something comes over Malroth, and his destructive powers increase. The immigrants from Khrumbul-Dun will stick around. Heorot can continue building. When he is ready to move on to the next story island, he will have to speak with the Hairy Hermit at the Mountaintop.

Next time, Heorot will explore another Explorer's Shore, the Sunny Sands.
