We are currently in Chapter 3: Kol & Galenholm. Previously, Davilas learned how to make Crack Shots, and he used them to defeat some Dancing Flames for Flame Orbs.

After resuming, Davilas speaks with Barbella for another quest (time 0:24). Needing a place to work in peace, she gives Davilas Barbella's Blueprint and asks him to use it to make her a workshop. Davilas learns how to make Books.

Davilas constructs Barbella's Blueprint in the space in the southwest of town. Among other things, it requires the Welder's Workbench. It also requires a Book and some Bookcases, which can be made at the Miner's Refiner. Davilas has to go on a side trip through the Red Teleportal to the Island of Ice to get enough Freezia Flowers for Books.

Davilas soon completes the blueprint (time 9:13). The resulting room is a Welder's Workshop.

Davilas reports to Barbella (time 9:40). She rewards him with 5 Iron Ingots. Quest complete! Davilas also learns how to make Pistons.

In the morning, Davilas talks to Barbella for the next skirmish to defend the base (time 12:55). In the first phase, Davilas and the townsfolk must repel two Knights Aberrant and two Legerdemen. In the second wave, there are Dancing Flames, which Crack Shots can defeat. The assault leader is a large Legerdeman.

Davilas and the townspeople defeat the enemies (time 15:40). Davilas earns a Seed of Life. Quest complete!

Then, Davilas talks to Burley for a quest (time 17:36). Burley has drawn up the Piston Palisade blueprint. He asks Davilas to set this defensive measure up at the western end of town, where monsters tend to attack. It is a good idea to dig a hole one-block deep for the palisade so that approaching monsters will step on the Pressure Plates and get propelled away from town by the Pistons. The blueprint requires Purple Flagstones, which can be found at the western end of the base. The Pressure Plates and Pistons are made at the Welder's Workshop.

After a little work, Davilas completes the Piston Palisade (time 25:17).

He reports to the happy Burley (time 25:31). Burley rewards him with 3 Chimaera Wings. Quest complete!

Next time, Davilas will work on another quest for Barbella, which will result in greatly improved armaments.
