After resting at the Azimuth, the party returns to the Pinnacle Chapel. From there, they head directly to the teleportal at the end of the Bonus Dungeon. I edited out this journey because it was covered in the previous video. If you run into enemy groups of two or more Pandora's Boxes, it may be a good idea to run like the wind.

When the party takes this teleportal (time index 0:41), they find themselves at the pinnacle of a volcano. There are a few chickens and a few eggs here. There are also two very strange, uh, people up here: Foo Yung and Chow Mein (time index 2:13). Above them, there is a picture of a tree in a picture frame. These idiots are debating the old chicken and egg argument. Unfortunately, they drag the party into the argument.

No matter what choices the party may select, they will have to fight these two wackos. This is a pretty tough boss battle. Foo Yung, the little egg-shaped guy, is capable of breathing Blistering Flames and a Cold Breath. He is also able to Kabuff himself or his partner. If Chow Mein falls first, Foo Yung can raise him. Most annoying is his Disruptive Wave, which can remove the party's buffs.

Chow Mein is a physical powerhouse. He can raise his strength, which boosts his already considerable attack power. His Toss Boulder attack and Cockspur Kick can hit all allies at once. He can also stir up some feathers, which act sort of like the Blink spell in Final Fantasy IV; it makes it hard to hit the target for a few turns. Chow Mein can also attack twice during a round.

As far as strategy goes, Kabuff is one of the most useful buffs in this fight. Insulatle is useful, too, but don't forget that Foo Yung can dispel the party's buffs. It is helpful to lower the enemy's defense with Sap. Maya's Kafrizzle spell is useful on Foo Yung but not Chow Mein. Powerful physical attacks from Alena and Ragnar will be useful here. The hero's Omniheal spell is crucial for healing the massive amount of damage these bozos can inflict. Take down Foo Yung first. When Foo Yung is down, Chow Mein will be easy enough to deal with as long as Kabuff is kept up. At this point, the party can also pile on the buffs such as Oomph and Acceleratle.

If the hero is leveled up enough to learn Gigasword, it will simply destroy these chickens.

When Foo Yung and Chow Mein have been scrambled (time index 17:08), Ragnar reaches Level 42. Borya reaches Level 38. Maya reaches Level 39.

In the scene after the battle (time index 17:49), the two egg-heads have quite enjoyed the battle. A flower now appears over the tree in the picture above. This is a clue that a flower has now blossomed atop the Yggdrasil Tree.

I did not realize this at the time, but the party can rapidly leave the pinnacle by leaping into the fiery crater. This will take them to the vicinity of the Azimuth.

The party will next head to the Yggdrasil Tree to find the new bloom.
