Madason, his kids, and Sancho will now use their new Flying Carpet to reach a place that they could not reach before. I'm going to go a little out of order and go to the Neverglade in this video. Technically, I think you're supposed to go to the Stairway to Zenithia next. However, we do have to go to the Neverglade eventually.

First, though, the party visits Dominicus's Dominion on the southern island (time 1:22). They turn in 50 of their 51 Mini Medals to get the amazing Metal King Shield. Madason equips this and passes down his shiny new Dragon Shield to Mason, the Golem.

Then, they use the Flying Carpet to make their way to the Neverglade (time 2:54). The location is east of Mostroferrato on Southern Zephyrus. With the Flying Carpet, the party can now glide over the shoals and waterways to reach the eastern part of the continent. Here, they will find a heavily forested area. They will have to land on the sandy ground before going deeper into the forest (time 3:15).

The Neverglade is located in a clearing in the southern part of the forest (time 4:53). Make sure at least one of the children is in the party before entering this area. This area reminds me of the Lost Woods in the Zelda games. The enemies here are can be a bit rough, so take care.

In the starting area, the party simply has to go north to an area with a house (time 5:44). A woodsman and his wife live within. The woodsman reveals where this forest leads. Most interesting!

The pot in the house contains Mini Medal #052 (time 7:35). The wardrobe contains some Elfin Elixir (time 7:46).

From the house, the party takes the northeast exit (time 8:10). This leads to a clearing with stumps. The only way to go from there is south (time 8:16).

The next area is a clearing with a pond. From here, the party goes east of the pond (time 8:20). This leads to a crossroads. Directly south of the crossing, there is a chest containing 1,500 gold (time 8:27).

Next, the party has to take the exit north of the crossroads (time 8:36). This leads to an area with a bonfire. However, before approaching it, the party can turn around and go south. This takes them mysteriously to a dead end where a treasure chest contains a Faerie Foil, a weapon for the daughter (time 8:44).

Afterwards, the party returns north to the bonfire (time 9:06). Here is the point where at least one of the children must be in the party. As they approach the bonfire, one of the children will note that someone is nearby.

The invisible faerie is just a step or two to the west of the bonfire (time 9:32). I guess Madason can no longer see her because he is grown up. The faerie is startled, but the children will soon calm her down and get her to lead them to Faerie Lea. From here on, one of the kids will lead the party through the rest of the Neverglade.

They will soon reach an area with a shrine (time 10:44). Inside the shrine is a portal leading to the Faerie Realm! The portal's exit is right next to Faerie Lea.

However, before going to Faerie Lea, the party heads through the portal to return to the Neverglade (time 11:35). Along the western side of the shrine, there is a treasure chest containing a T 'n' T Ticket (time 11:24).

Before heading back through, the party makes sure to encounter some Moosifers and Quadraheads for the monster book.

Then, back in the Faerie Realm, the party checks out Faerie Lea (time 14:32). Apparently, the old dwarf has been hard at work up north where the Winter Palace used to be. The inn here is pretty inexpensive, and the party will not wake up in Whealbrook as Madason did much earlier in the game. The armour shop has some very good equipment, though the prices are quite high.

In the throne room, the party will find Honey and Treacle (time 22:22). There is little that Treacle can do to help Madason at the moment, but she advises Madason to seek out the Stairway to Zenithia. This is in fact where the party has to go next. Treacle will be more helpful later on when the party actually needs to visit her.

Afterwards, the party heads west to the Dwarf's Den (time 25:07). Inside, they will find Dwight Dwarf (time 27:40). He still seems to have some allergy problems. After a brief conversation, he will offer to join the party as a monster-type recruit. He is Dwight, the Son of a Dwarf. I'm not impressed with his starting stats, though.

In the next video, the party will head north to see what has become of the Winter Palace.
