We are currently in a New Game+ to earn outstanding trophies. After recruiting Fang in Ruffian in the Dead Dunes, Lightning has gone to the Dry Floodlands. Now it is time to conclude the quest "Last One Standing," which is one of the reasons for the New Game+.

On the ruins of the building to the northeast of the Dry Floodlands shrine, there is a treasure ball that once contained Cactair Notes (time 1:48). Now, it contains a Crystal Medal.

In the northeast of the area, she gets rid of the sandstorm with a Pilgrim's Crux (time 2:49). Afterwards, she takes care of the Cactair. This critter has very high defense. Upon its defeat, the Cactair drops the Fragment of Kindness for the Sazh quest line.

In the Oasis Lighthouse area, she talks to Zanford (time 14:37). She is able to complete the quest "Last One Standing" because she defeated all the Last Ones in the main playthrough. After accepting the quest, she talks to him again to conclude it (time 18:35). The rewards for concluding this quest include 12,000 gil, a Bladed Lance weapon, a Hermit's Cap adornment, and some nice stat gains.

At the Oasis Lighthouse, the western treasure ball contains the Key to the Sand Gate (time 20:58).

The middle treasure ball upgrades the Angel's Headband to the Angel's Headband+ (time 21:08). It now boosts max HP by 30%. Accessory upgrade #6.

Some Bhakti's Oil is nearby (time 21:45).

The eastern treasure ball, requiring 4 EP, upgrades the Silver Barrette to the Silver Barrette+ (time 22:03). It now increases maximum ATB by 15 rather than 10. Accessory upgrade #7.

Now, since some of accessory upgrades are in the Temple Ruins, it may be best to grab the tablets from the shrines. Lightning starts by infiltrating the False Sanctuary in the Dry Floodlands Shrine (time 25:37).

Down near the door, there is some Bhakti's Oil (time 27:08). The treasure ball that once contained a Pain Dampener now contains 1,500 gil (time 27:20).

After popping open the door with a Pilgrim's Crux (time 28:12), Lightning goes in and gets the first Tablet (time 29:45). It is nice to have Fang along for some additional dialogue.

Next, Lightning heads north to explore Atomos's Sands (time 36:57). Watch out for Earth Eaters up here.

On the ruins of the southwest building, a treasure ball once contained a Rainbow Gem (time 38:15). It now holds 1,500 gil.

South of the ruins of Atomos, Lightning finds a Loupe (time 40:45).

Along the eastern corridor, she finds a Pilgrim's Crus (time 41:59).

Outside this area's Shrine of the Tablet, Lightning unlocks the Red Cactuar statue for the Atomos's Sands (time 43:12).

Just inside the Fantastic Sanctuary, she finds some Bhakti's Oil (time 43:31).

Down by the door, a treasure ball once contained the Pretty Orb (time 44:38). Now it contains 1,500 gil.

Then, Light busts open the door with a Pilgrim's Crux (time 44:52). In the depths, she finds the second Tablet (time 46:24).

Back out in Atomos's Sands, along the southeast path to Ruffian, there is treasure ball (time 52:46). It upgrades the Spiritual Veil to Spiritual Veil+. It now boosts magic damage resistance by 22%. Accessory upgrade #8.

Next up, it's the Temple Ruins.
