Young Madason and his party are now about ready to head south to Mostroferrato. First, though, they will head off to add some places to Madason's new Zoom list.

They first head to Fortuna. To the south, they enter Heaven's Above Abbey to add that location to the list (time 0:29). Also, several Nuns of the Above will have new dialogue about Maria's departure. Ah, that Harry! There's also some subtle hinting about Madason's future.

Next, after returning to Fortuna, they head north. After crossing the bridge, they add Whealbrook to the Zoom list (time 3:41).

Finally, to the west, they add Roundbeck to the Zoom list (time 4:15).

Now, it is time to head to Mostroferrato. So, they go back to Zoomingale to start their journey south (time 4:33).

Along the way, Baumren the Great Sabrecat reaches Level 17 and learns Focus Strength (time 4:51). This ability will boost his strength for the next turn. It seems to be the forerunner to tension in DQ8.

Soon afterwards, Micheal the Healslime reaches Level 14 (time 6:40). Way to go, Micheal!

South of Scuttlebutt, they go through the Tunnel South of Zoomingale (time 7:19). This is not a complicated tunnel. In the southeast dead end, they find a chest containing Mini Medal #013 (time 7:31).

On the way to the exit, Champ the Funghoul reaches Level 13 (time 8:27). Also, Eyedleby the Cross Eye reaches Level 6.

The exit is in the southwest of the tunnel (time 9:31). The party is now past the mountain range south of Scuttlebutt. Mostroferrato is quite close by on the island to the southwest.

First, the party checks out La Guardia, the lookout tower just west of town (time 9:44). Its builder sounds quite wise. The guard at the top has some interesting information about a person named Grandmaster Nimzo.

Next, they head to their destination, the town of Mostroferrato (time 10:58). A little scene takes place with a pleasant blue-haired girl and her runaway dog. Bingo is his name-o. The party will learn a bit more about this girl and her unfortunate situation as they explore this town. There seems to be a big to-do over at the Briscoletti mansion.

In the inn, the drawers in the eastern bedroom contain an Iron Shield (time 14:11). Have a shield, Eyedleby.

In the house south of the inn, the drawers on the lower level contain Mini Medal #014 (time 16:14). The drawers on the upper level contain a Tombola Ticket (time 16:35).

At the armour shop, the party picks up some Full Plate Armour for Goodian the Slime Knight (time 17:52).

The Briscoletti villa is in the southwest of town (time 21:50). The drawers along the east wall contain a Seed of Wisdom (time 22:03).

Next, the party will visit the Briscoletti mansion.
