Previously, the party acquired Ra's Mirror from Moonmirror Tower. However, when they presented it to King Somnus in Somnia in the dream world, he was mysteriously transformed into a regal woman named Apnea. The only answer now is to infiltrate Murdaw's lair southeast of Somnia.

Before heading there, the party will revisit a few places and then flesh out the Monster Book a little bit.

First on their revisiting list is Weaver's Peak in the Dream World (time 0:30). After resting at Heorot's home, the party can talk to Tania for some interesting dream analysis. In Mayor Spindell's house, his daughter Judith will have a shocking proposal. Ack! Just run away! In the pub, it looks like Buddy has landed his dream job. You go, Buddy. Of course, his mother upstairs will reveal the reason for Buddy's current employment. He seems more reliable than Ivor in DQ9, though.

Next, the party switches to the real world and goes back to Port Haven (time 5:50). They have already revisited the mayor's place and Creative Carvings, but there is also some new dialogue in the ferry office. Donna, the barmaid, will have a little more info about the lone swordsman she's infatuated with.

Afterwards, the party zooms over to Amor (time 9:59). Ilya and Evgenya will have a little new dialogue. The priest notes that Evgenya has been doing much better since Ilya arrived.

Then, the party heads over to Moonmirror Tower (time 13:58). There, they will be hunting foes to flesh out the Monster Book. Milly's Crack and Carver's Double Up seem to work best on the Shadows.

In the process, Ashlynn, the Runaway Teen, reaches Level 4 (time 15:16).

A bit later, Milly, the Mysterious Girl, reaches Level 13 (time 22:27). She learns Midheal, which can restore around 75 HP to a party member. This is essential for many of the boss battles coming up.

A couple minutes later, Ashlynn, the Runaway Teen, reaches Level 5 (time 24:12).

When they are done in the tower, they zoom back to the dream world and return to Somnia (time 28:12). They review the updates to the Big Book of Beasts there before resting and signing off.
