Previously, the party began exploring the chilly Herb Grotto in search of Marek. They made it through the first three floors.

The party resumes on Level 4 of the Herb Grotto. When they reach the main loop in the southeast, they go around it counterclockwise.

In the western part of the loop, there is a spot where three icicles hang over the path (time 2:47). The party makes all three icicles fall. This will form a bridge for the upper path.

As the party continues on, Jessica reaches Level 32 (time 4:39). She obtains 6 skill points. She puts them into Fisticuffs for a total of 19. At 19 points in Fisticuffs, she becomes a Gladiatrix and learns the ability Stone's Throw.

On the raised area in the middle of the loop, there is a locked chest south of the stalagmite (time 5:28). It contains an Icicle Dirk. This knife can be used as an item in battle to cast Crackle.

In the northwest of the area, a scene takes place when the party approaches the fallen icicles (time 6:23). A man is trapped on the other side, and he is in a bad way.

Davilas sends Munchie through the gap between the icicles (time 7:23). Munchie must go past the man and then into the cleft.

Munchie triggers an icicle to fall in the cleft (time 8:09). This will give the party a means to reach the shivering man.

Munchie returns to Davilas (time 9:11). We regain control of the party.

After going around, the party talks to the shivering man (time 9:46). Finally, they have found Marek. The poor guy has been through a lot. He asks them to open Marta's Bag.

The party talks to Marek again (time 10:58). They open Marta's Bag. The Nook Grass within helps Marek recover. Then, he suggests that they travel together back to Orkutsk. Naturally, the party agrees.

The party Evacs out of the Herb Grotto (time 13:35). A scene takes place as they emerge. A pack of wolves draws near!

The party must battle a pack of Hellhounds (time 14:10). Group attack spells and abilities like Kaswoosh, Kasizzle, and Zap will make short work of them.

A scene takes place after the not-so-epic battle (time 14:49). A strange voice calls off the wolf attack because the real target is someone else.

The party Zooms back to Orkutsk (time 16:56).

A scene takes place as they enter town (time 17:09). Marek asks to confer with the party in his room.

The party reexplores Orkutsk with Marek in tow.

In the church, the nun has some troubling dialogue (time 19:05). The man who is infatuated with her did not do a good job conveying his desire, did he?

A brief scene takes place when they talk to the old man sitting at the bar in the pub (time 21:27).

Another brief scene takes place when they talk to the young man sitting at a table in the pub (time 21:58). It sounds like Marek's patience with this patient has run its course.

A man in the inn has an interesting observation about the wolf pack sighted around town.

The mayor has some interesting information about the area's past (time 24:01).

A brief scene takes place when the party talks with Marek's friend, the item shop owner (time 25:55).

A scene takes place when the party returns to Marek's apartment (time 27:44). Marek tells them about his relationship with Marta. Now, he is worried about her safety. At first, he asks them to accompany him to her place. But then, a patient in great need of assistance arrives. Marek asks the party to go ahead to Marta's Cottage.

The party rests at the inn and then saves in the church. Next time, they will return to Marta's Cottage to check on her.
