Panigalm is side content that is unlocked in Version 6 once you gain access to Fourion. In it, you navigate a gauntlet with branching paths to collect Panigalogs, which are converted into items at the end. At the end of each exploration run, you fight a 12-man boss battle that rotates every week, and one of the possible bosses is Corvus, the final boss of Dragon Quest IX. You can do 10 exploration runs per week.

The most important feature of Panigalm is the Goddess Tree, where you exchange Geneseeds you collect in exploration to grow different seeds to permanently increase your stats across all jobs. You get Geneseeds from red Panigalogs (4-man and 8-man battles) and rainbow Panigalogs (from defeating the 12-man boss at the end for the first time that week).
