Previously, Davilas continued the late part of the Version 6.5 storyline, "The Tale of Stars Shining in the Sky". Aboard the Moon with the Evil Eye, he and the champions worked their way through the Middle and Core Layers. One team fought and defeated the malicious Jia Nebula. However, the relative ease of their progress meant that this was a trap. Two champions have been lost in this place. Fortunately, Davilas and his group can now infiltrate the Engine Compartment to sabotage the Magic Eye Cannon. After that, it will be time to face Jia Red Genos itself.

Secret Rooms (time 0:14):

Davilas resumes in the Secret Rooms underneath the Eternal Temple in the Folion region. In the Landing Place, he boards the Ark of Heaven at D-4/D-5 to return to the Moon with the Evil Eye. His support party members are left behind, sadly.

Moon with the Evil Eye (time 1:57):

Davilas arrives at E-2 on the Rubin Air Bridge in the north of the Core Layer. He rejoins Yuraiza and Hakuou.

Davilas takes the door at D-2/E-2 north to the Engine Compartment.

Moon with the Evil Eye - Engine Compartment (time 2:49):

Davilas gains control at H-5 in the east. A voice warns him and his team to leave, so naturally they will keep going. There are three rotating rings that control the strength of the Magic Eye Cannon. Speeding up the rings will power up the cannon, and yet ... speeding up all of them may just overload it so it cannot be used again.

Davilas examines the control panel at G-4. He chooses to speed up the first ring's rotation speed. A door nearby opens so he and his team can progress.

Past the door, Davilas steps on the circular panel at G-5. It transports him west to F-5.

At E-4, Davilas examines a second control panel. It is missing its Psychic Connection Stone. Davilas will have to find one.

Down a ramp to the southeast, there is a storage room. From a bin at F-5, Davilas obtains the Psychic Connection Stone (送受念石) key item. Now, to take this back to the control panel.

At E-4, Davilas examines the second control panel again. He installs the Psychic Connection Stone and chooses to speed up the second ring's rotation speed. A door nearby opens.

Beyond the door, Davilas steps on the circular panel at E-5. It transports him west to D-5.

Up the ramp, Davilas finds the third control panel at D-4. However, it is linked to two slave units on the lower level, and they must all be operated at the same time. Good thing Yuraiza came along!

Downstairs, Davilas examines the eastern slave panel at D-4. Hakuou stays behind to operate it.

Davilas examines the western slave panel at D-4. Yuraiza stays behind to operate it.

Back upstairs, Davilas operates the main control panel at D-4. With all three panels being operated, Davilas chooses to speed up the third ring's rotation speed. A door nearby opens, and a very annoying alarm begins blaring. Yuraiza and Hakuou rejoin Davilas.

Past the door, Davilas steps on the circular panel at C-5. It transports him west to B-5. A short way northwest, he steps on the circular panel at B-5, and this one transports him up a level. As he continues on, Yuraiza and Hakuou have some chatter, marred a bit by the alarm.

At A-4, Davilas takes the door to the Great Light Control Room.

Moon with the Evil Eye - Great Light Control Room (time 16:12):

An event takes place as Davilas and his team arrive in the control room. Davilas gains control at C-7 in the south. Based on the map, the cannon has already targeted several locations across Astoltia.

At C-4, Davilas examines the terminal. At the start, there are three options: (1) "About the Great Light of Purification", (2) "About the Jia Fuel", and (3) "About Stopping the Acceleration Ring" (加速円環の停止について). Davilas reads all three options for information, although the third option is the one he must ultimately select.

After this, a new option appears at the top: "Fire the Magic Eye Cannon" (魔眼砲を発射する). Davilas selects this option. With the state of the Engine Compartment, firing the cannon will cause a lot of damage, so a confirmation is presented. Davilas chooses the first option, "Fire Anyway". The other option is to stop.

Afterwards, the aiming option is presented. Davilas can (1) "Fire on Astoltia", (2) "Fire into Empty Space", or (3) "Stop". Davilas chooses option 2, "Fire into Empty Space" (何もない虚空に発射). Of course, this isn't Elder Scrolls or Baldur's Gate, so I doubt the game would seriously allow us to fire on Astoltia.
