Davilas is currently carrying out the Version 2.3 storyline. Previously, he completed Quest 369 and gave a flower to Kame-sama. After some intriguing events, a Pegasus named Falchion came to Princess Anlucia's aid. Now, it is time to return to the Twisted Deformed Earth and gain entry to the final dungeon of Version 2.3.

While checking mail, Davilas acquires a note from Talint (time 3:23). Sorry I paged through it so quickly, but I didn't realize I was going to get it. Davilas acquires a key item, and a new option appears on the inventory menu. This is a portable alchemy pot.

After hiring his party, Davilas gets the warp witch in Rendoa to zoom him to the camp in the Ryana Desolate Area (time 7:38). In the Ryana Desolate Area, he takes the exit southeast of the encampment to the Twisted Deformed Earth, the distorted remains of Souraria Gorge (time 9:32). By the way, one can apparently access the pre-destruction Souraria Gorge in False Rendaashia now.

In the north of the Twisted Deformed Earth, Davilas approaches the force field at D-1 in area 3 (time 10:15). Anlucia arrives on the back of Falchion. Falchion uses some interesting powers to blast through the Evil Demon King's barriers. Unfortunately, that is about all she can do for Anlucia right now, so Anlucia and Davilas will have to continue on their own.

After the scene, Davilas proceeds north into the Magical Palace (time 13:36). Anlucia speaks to him for a moment before continuing onward. Here, he cannot run from battles, and he cannot use the Dol Board. Fortunately, at my level, not all of the enemies are aggressive. This place looks sprawling, but it's fairly straightforward. There seem to be human slaves/prisoners in here.

Upstairs in the foyer at D-4, there is a painting to examine (time 15:12). However, he cannot do anything with this just yet. He must go around and find three possessed paintings throughout the dungeon.

First, he heads through the door at E-4 to the eastern wing (time 15:45).

At G-3 in the northeast courtyard, there is a black chest containing Mini Medals #265-#267 (time 16:41). Counting the 43 he has already spent, Davilas is currently at 224 medals.

In the eastern room at H-4, there is a black chest containing a King Hydra Card (time 18:32). This room contains a painting, but it is not currently possessed.

In the southeast room at G-7, Davilas examines the painting (time 20:08). He gets pulled in and finds a painting mimic.

After the brief scene, Davilas faces the Dark Realism (time 20:50). It can summon Skullriders into the battle. It can also temporarily freeze party members by encasing them in Mud Men.

A scene occurs afterwards (time 24:34). The thorns disappear from the painting.

Upon exiting through the painting, Davilas arrives on the upper floor of the foyer (time 25:21). This place has paintings that match the possessed paintings.

Returning to the east wing, Davilas goes up the stairway at E-5 to the second floor (time 27:12).

At H-4 in the eastern room upstairs, there is a black chest containing a Green Orb (time 29:14). Another painting is here, but it is not haunted.

After returning to the foyer's first level, Davilas heads through the western door at D-4 to the western wing (time 31:09).

In the little room at D-5, there is a red chest containing 3 Magic Waters (time 32:22).

In the northwest courtyard, a black chest at B-3 contains a Sage's Elixir (time 33:55).

In the western room at A-4, a black chest contains some Magical Fur (time 34:43). The painting of a black cat in here is harmless.

In the southwest room, a black chest at B-7 contains a Red Orb (time 36:13). This disturbing painting of eyes is harmless.

Then, Davilas goes up the stairway at D-4 to the second floor (time 37:43).

In the west room on the second floor, he examines the painting at A-4 (time 39:13). This is another possessed painting. He gets sucked inside and surrounded by a ginormous bird cage.

After the brief scene, Davilas must battle Wild Fauvism (time 39:50). This is an irritating boss because of its ability to charm party members. it calls Beleths into the battle, which can also inflict charm. Be sure to have party members with "Tsukkomi"/Sobering Slap. Its flying knives can do some powerful multi-hit damage. If you don't crowd around the front of Wild Fauvism, you'll be less likely to get charmed. It may also be helpful to avoid putting Oomph on the party.

Davilas gets himself revived after getting wiped out. He returns home to rest (time 47:16). Next time, he will defeat Wild Fauvism and the other possessed painting to clear the way to Version 2.3's final story boss.
