Previously, the party finally caught up with Kinai in Nagimunaa Village. But it was actually the grandson of Kinai Yuki, the mermaid Romia's human lover from fifty years ago. Sadly, Kinai Yuki is no longer living. Kinai gave the party the Wedding Veil. Now, it is time to take the veil to Romia, along with some sad news.
After resuming, the party zooms to the White Cove (time 2:14). There, they talk to Romia (time 2:43). When she asks if Kinai is okay, the party has the option to lie to her. Certainly not! The option defaults to telling her the truth. After telling her that he is dead, the party gives her the Wedding Veil. Now, she wants the party to take her to Nagimunaa Village.
To go there, the party must talk to Alice (time 4:42). Alice will take them directly to the Shijima Beach near Nagimunaa Village.
Afterwards, the party is with Romia at Shijima Beach (time 5:13). She asks them to bring the current Kinai to meet her.
The party heads south to Nagimunaa Village (time 7:28). In Kinai's house in the west of town, they chat with Kinai (time 8:35). They report that they have taken the veil to Romia. They ask him to come up to Shijima Beach, and he joins them.
The party returns north to Shijima Beach (time 10:34). As they approach the shore, a scene takes place (time 10:48). Romia reveals herself. Kinai points out Kinai Yuki's grave marker. Romia says that mermaids live for 500 years, and she did not realize that so much time had passed. She tells Davilas that his reward will be back at the White Cove. Romia puts on the veil and transforms her fins to legs. She bids goodbye to Kinai Yuki. She comments that Kinai's hands are like Kinai Yuki's. Romia bids goodbye and returns to the water, where she turns into seafoam, which is what happens to mermaids who go ashore. Then, Kinai rushes up to the hut.
Up in the hut, the party talks to Kinai (time 16:20). He uncovers a beautiful painting that had been made of Romia wearing the wedding veil. Martina finds a letter on the back of the easel. In it, Kinai writes that Danatra was in despair after her husband died. She threw herself into the sea from a promontory nearby. Kinai Yuki rescued her child. He did not return to Romia because he felt it was his responsibility to care for the child. Definitely a sad story.
Inside the hut, there is a wardrobe containing a Black Pearl (time 22:08).
Afterwards, the party zooms to the White Cove (time 22:54).
On Romia's rock, they find a chest that she had left behind (time 23:23). It contains the Mermaid Harp. With it is a letter from Romia. She explains that she is a mermaid princess. The party can use the Mermaid Harp at shiny pillars of light to go under the waves. She suggests they go to the mermaid kingdom with the pillar of light in the sea east of Derukadaaru.
The party zooms to camp to save (time 24:38). Next time, they will go under the waves to the mermaid kingdom.
Thanks for watching!
