Previously, the party explored the town of Sorutiko across the sea northwest of Daaharuune. Now, it is time to begin racking up tokens in Sorutiko's Casino. The game's autosave feature will help make save scumming easier.
After the game loads, the party heads into the Casino in Sorutiko (time 2:06).
First, he picks up some tokens at the token counter (time 2:36).
Then, he begins playing slots at the 10-token slot machines on the western side (time 3:21). In this game, the slot machines have some delightful new features over the previous games in the series. First is the wildcard symbol, which makes it easier to match up other symbols. Another is the free spin. As the name implies, they cost no tokens to use. If you match up three free spin symbols, you'll get 10 free spins. The third feature is the metal spin, which doubles the potential winnings.
Davilas lucks out the first time! Nice!
Now, at least on the PS4 version, you can exit the casino and return to make an autosave. If you lose your shirt, you can close DQ11 from the PS4 menu, start it up again, and load from the autosave. I'm not sure how it works in the 3DS version.
After some playing, the party acquires an accolade for playing slot machines (time 23:50).
By the end, the party has earned over 5,100 tokens. Next time, they will continue the slot mayhem.
Thanks for watching!
