Previously, the party finished the events of Octagonia. Now, they must head west to the Ruins of Dundrasil to catch up with Rab. Before heading to the ruins, they will do the two quests available in Dundrasil.

In the Tournament Reception in Octagonia, they talk to the knight wearing a rosary. He issues the quest "Skincare for the Fierce and Fabulous". He wants some Mellow Vera, which grows by a waterfall near the ruins of Dundrasil.

The party Zooms over to the Dundrasil Campsite. The gathering spot for the Mellow Vera is to the northwest of the campsite. It looks like a normal stalk.

The party Zooms back to Octagonia to deliver the Mellow Vera to the client. In return, he gives them the recipe book "The Dapper Chap". It has recipes for Dapper Doublets and Natty Cravats, a costume change for Sylvando. Quest complete!

The party then talks to the little boy standing outside the door to the Orphanage. He issues the quest "The Shadow". He wants an autograph from Xero the Shadow, an MMA fighter.

Xero the Shadow can be found on the upper ground in the southeast of town. He readily hands over his autograph, the Mark of Xero.

Davilas delivers the Mark of Xero to the boy at the Orphanage. The boy rewards him with Mini Medal #021. Quest complete!

Afterwards, the party Zooms to the Dundrasil Campsite. They head into the Dundrasil City Ruins. Veronica notices that some braziers above have been lit. Note that I have already explored this area and found its treasures.

The party heads through the well in the northwest and arrives in the Ruins of Dundrasil. They soon meet Rab, who has figured out Davilas's identity. Rab guides them farther in to a headstone belonging to the late King and Queen of Dundrasil, and he reveals who he is. He has been traveling to determine what has been going on in the world. Then, he asks Davilas to take part in a ritual at the Altar of Souls on the hill to the west.

The party climbs the Mountain Path and reaches the Altar of Souls. Davilas and Rab perform the ritual, a sublime scene set to one of the most beautiful music tracks in the game. Then, Davilas shows the queen's final letter to Rab, who is profoundly moved.

Back down on the Mountain Path, Davilas catches up with Jade. They soon find that the party are not the only people in Dundrasil. A scene occurs as they head up towards the altar and then again as they attempt to flee.

Davilas eventually finds himself in the cabin in the southwest of the Dundrasil Region. When Jade arrives, she tells him her side about what has happened. After this scene, they must rejoin the party back in the Ruins of Dundrasil.

Another scene takes place as they cross the bridge east of the cabin. Some pursuit has caught up with them.

Davilas and Jade escape to Dundrasil, where they catch up with the rest of the party. Rab identifies the evil that he believes is afflicting the world. At long last, Rab gives Davilas the Rainbough! Better yet, Rab and Jade join the party.

Davilas's title is now Prince of Dundrasil. Rab, the Luminary's Grandfather, starts at Level 23. He has healing and attack magic. He can use heavy wands, and he can also use claws. Jade, the Crown Princess of Heliodor, also starts at Level 23. She can use claws or spears, and she can also fight barehanded.

Another scene occurs as the party goes to leave Dundrasil. The Rainbough reveals its power and shows them a vision. The party realizes that they must find six orbs. Erik gives Davilas his Red Orb, and Rab and Jade hand over the Yellow Orb. Only four orbs to find! Now, the party has to go talk to Don Rodrigo over in Puerto Valor to access the open ocean.

Next time, the party will visit Don Rodrigo's place in Puerto Valor.
