Dragon Throne Battle of Red Cliffs EP8: [Hard] (Cao Cao) Mission 7

We're finally at Cao Cao's last campaign mission. There's 2 ways to approach this game. Either defend until we're strong enough to move out and complete the mission, or move Xu Huang's forces west, south, then east to "rescue" the city.

Regardless of our choice, we should at least send some units to capture the various villages situated around the map right at the start of the mission. Something which I totally forgot to do.

Also, I was quite upset (still am) about the game not keeping track of the progress in Fancheng from the last mission, while literally expecting us to believe that Fancheng is totally empty and needs to be built up. Even if we were to assume that many buildings were damaged while defending against the siege, there should at least be some structures left functional.

At 39:20 there's also some strange bugs on the map that made certain parts of the map inaccessible. It's a small issue though.

Also, the credits give a really nice follow-up to the campaign's story until Cao Cao's demise. However, the text alignment, and even mismatch..........

Yeah the text is taken from Liu Bei campaign's final mission text because somehow they got mismatched.
