Another offline PB of DWM2.

Captured on a Cobi cart, through a gameboy player running GBI-HF, output via a Carby. Played with a bluetooth 8bitdo M30 sega-style controller.

Very fast Oasis recruits, and GiantWorm was a low-level meaning he got a bunch of stats and was quite strong. It will be hard to run against an early split like this one if I continue.

In Pirate, I failed the Friend Staff manip once. Actually, I "failed" it the second time, too, in that it was not in the expected spot. Thankfully, I found the staff just outside of Squiz Cave. It broke on first use, which means counting the failure, it was probably a wash in terms of time loss/save.

For the rest of Pirate, I had to force a couple fights for the Gopher recruit, I had a fast CaptDead, and then the real heartbreak happened - it took 4.5 minutes to recruit a DarkEye. I saw a couple of formations that are known to have a *male* DarkEye (the one with three monsters, with a DarkEye in the center), and I failed a recruitment on the first female DarkEye I found.

Oh, also, during CaptDead I accidentally hit L on the controller, putting the GBP into widescreen mode. Oops.

Ice was fine overall. I felt like there were a couple of small mistakes (e.g. an extra encounter at the end of BombCrag cave due to taking an extra step before the stairs), but nothing major here. I trimmed some inn uses in favor of using healing items, but otherwise, standard stuff.

Sky was quite good. The level 1 encounter having 3 enemies wasn't optimal, but it was also no issue. Encounters were pretty normal, shopping was decent, etc. First try Change Staff before the Metabble cave. Metabble itself was kind of slow, I failed a bunch of EvilSlash, which was the biggest time loss of the split. NiteRich was great (no Diago) and Mudo was pretty good as well.

Limbo was very good. The bridge fight was smooth, even though Armorpede almost died once, because I was able to pump out good damage and get through it quickly. Darck was equally good; I had a couple of QuadHits without TwinHits up, but that's just normal stuff.
