Offline run of DWM2 that happened to be a solid PB. Game audio only, no cam, etc.

Played on the Cobi's Journey version on an original cartridge. Captured via a GameCube GameBoy Player using GBI, output through a Carby, and played with a Bluetooth 8bitdo M30 controller.

Speedrun breakdown:

Solid RNG for the recruitment luck. Worm was recruited at high level, which means he did not do much damage, which made both Oasis and Pirate a little slow. Oasis featured a Cactiball doing as much or more damage to the CurseLamp than the Worm.

Also some slightly different shopping than before in Oasis - first shop, 7 Herb and 3 BeefJerky. Skip the Inn, buy the Wing on revisit. Arena fight for Pirate Key was slow - everyone was spreading their atacks on the thrid battle.

Manip'd one Friend Staff in Pirate, thankfully it did not break on Squiz (but it did on CaptDead). Clean recruitments of Gopher, ArmyAnt, DarkEye.

Ice was so/so. First encounter was big (slow). Squiz died a little too early on the way to BombCrag, but it wasn't an issue. Some Sleep and Confusion RNG on bosses lost a couple turns (and a TwinHits Bear deciding to use Icebolt). A lot of water encounters in here lost some time, too.

In Sky, I choked a little bit (and RNG doubled down). Repellents didn't buy (full inventory, had to fix). Spent 50s using the Change Staff so I could enter the cave (should have played on Tara). I did get a first-try EvilSlash on Metabble, at least. Accidentally went through the Traveler Gate again on the way to Mudou's castle. Had a full inventory when grabbing the Steel Fang and accidentally flew away when trying to fix it. Had lots of money, so I bought a ton of WorldDew, and felt confident going into the end game.

Limbo wasn't great. I got hit with StopSpell on Turn 1 bridge fight so Armorpede wasn't very effective. Darck also didn't give me a very fast pattern, lots of DeMagic and such. Limbo wasn't scary because I had a ton of healing, but it was just kinda slow.
