Donkey Kong Country was created by Nintendo and Rare in 1994 for the Super Nintendo and later rereleased under the same name for the Gameboy Advance. Donkey Kong Country is a 2D platformer that is unique in its art style in that it was one of the first games and definitely the first Nintendo game to use pre-rendered graphics to give a unique 3D look to the game. Other than technilogical aspects however the game itself is one of the greatest platformers ever created and a great way to integrate a new identity to the Donkey Kong franchise!
