The next dungeon is definitely a nasty one and will definitely help if you have an assortment of spells to utilize upon the enemies within here. You'll be meeting ninjas and samurai here and it is defintely the most dangerous dungeon thus far. Ninjas will attack you with long-range with the use of shuriken and Samurai AKA Shoguns will try to surprise you with their quick movements and surprise projectiles. Don't let either of them live or else you will have a tough time surviving. Especially if you have those blue crystals around.
After you get through the Pagoda, you'll fight probably the most difficult boss yet, the Daiymo Dragon. He definitely hits hard and he doesn't leave a lot of openings. However, if you can figure out his pattern, this guy will go down with good precision. The thing that you have to do is to make him strike and miss, and then wait for him to back up and unleash a storm of projectiles upon you. The moment to counter attack is when he's preparing the storm. Any other time and you'll be swatted away. Having Crystal Armor for this boss and dungeon is HIGHLY recommended, otherwise you'll be having a very tough time and will likely get a Game Over unless you're stocked on medicine.
Once Daiymo is no more, you become Hawk-Man. It's a bittersweet transformation where the matter of exploration is expanded greatly and the skies are the limit. However, the bitter side is the fact that your stats take a huge plunge from Tiger-Man's and you're stuck with the second worst set of stats in the game. Also, Hawk-Man still hates water. There is a trick to get around that though!
