As you can see here my pawn in Dragon's Dogma 2 has Dragonsplague, you can see the glowing eyes clearly in the dark cave (use the wait command so they don't move while you are inspecting them). She also holds her head like she's in pain for a bit too.

Oddly enough she hasn't been sassing me like others have mentioned. I'm not sure but my guess it may be due to her being Kindhearted, so keep a watch out even if they aren't talking back to you.
