Dragon's Dogma is a pretty bad game that I still enjoyed, and recommend to people who have played a lot of games and don't mind something that's rough if it has some original ideas.
If you like skill-based games then you should watch the video before trying the game, to see if there's still enough for you to like.
The video has major spoilers for everything but, as I say a few minutes in, I think this might be one of the rare games that's enhanced by having prior knowledge. Some light wiki use is also great in cutting down on some of the more obscure moments in the game.
