[Dragon's Lair] - Lair King! (Max Score)
7Fun game despite the simple concept and the age. This is basically a quick time event reaction test, but requires some awareness of where you are in the game. For this achievement, I needed to get the max score which is 427,469. Somehow I got slightly above that and I'm not sure why, maybe the experts can comment since this is a single-segment video. Luckily the achievement still awarded for getting over. To get the max score, you must reach the dragon with all 5 lives, while also making sure to get off on the last platform of the elevator. The elevator either has 3 or 9 stops and you can determine what it will be based on how many rooms you've done, or by the room(s) that precede it. The reason you have to reach the dragon with 5 lives is because you must lose them all at the last possible moment to get the max score. This results in about a 17 minute run, where it is easy to make mistakes or not react fast enough. I was lucky to get it as soon as I did. Enjoy the run!
