TO PRACTICE:
In an emulator, to practice the specific frame counter, you can get to a consistent practice state by doing the following:
-Play the game and trigger the countdown.
-Pause it at any point during the countdown.
-Poke the following values into these addresses:
Address 0x01: 7 (unsigned)
Address 0x0D: 159 (unsigned)
-Now, unpause play.
-If done correctly, the countdown should restart from the beginning, but you are guaranteed to have the correct frame counter for the optimal RTA strat.
-Use this setup to make your save states for practice use, and to follow the spreadsheet.

CORRECTIONS FROM VIDEO:
-Most of what I say in regard to reaction times is for simple reaction times - much of what these cues are based on are recognition reactions, not simple. This adds additional processing time, and may make some of the cues I discuss too difficult to use reliably.
-Build a rhythm instead of relying on cues for many of the shifts! They are spaced well such that you don't need a cue for each individual one. They also might happen too quickly for you to re-orient yourself to new cues on each one.
-If you're following the spreadsheet to set up a practice environment, you'll need to do the SHIFT input one frame before it is listed. This is because the input is captured at the end of a frame, and then used on the next.
