In this video I compare PAL Drakenngard in it's original 576i50Hz with the 1080i60Hz output resolution on a real PS2 System.

Once again, my recording software has problems with the 480i/576i output, so it looks a bit worse than it should. Higher resolutions are forced through GS Mode Selector.

The game crashed on every other output resolution, the 1080i modes are the only ones that work. But they skip the FMV cutscenes. So, sadly, the 1080i output is not recommended for actually playing the game.
