Taking a bit of a break made it easy to see what I needed to do next.

The world needs more 3D platformers, and Breogan Hackett stepped up to answer the call. I've played their jam game Bleakshore (https://boaheck.itch.io/bleakshore) before, and quite enjoyed it. This one is substantially different, and still a good time. The jumping felt a bit finnicky at first, but I got used to it by twenty or so minutes in, which is typical for 3D platformers. The atmosphere was great, and it definitely had that N64 feel. Seems like there's at least three endings, but you'll need to play it yourself to see them (or look at another playthrough, I suppose, but I think it's worth the money).

The theme of this collection is spoopy, which I was beginning to catch on to myself. This certainly fits that bill.
