I didn't really enjoy this game. Sometimes it was interesting, but I spent a great deal of the game being significantly ahead of the characters, which is never fun. You have pretty much no control over Sigma's actions, so you really don't need to understand anything—the game will progress with or without you understanding.

The game's text speed is far, far too slow (even at the highest setting), and it repeats information far too often, especially across timelines, in EVERY timeline, coupled with tons of flashbacks. I felt like I got a handle on each of the characters a third of the way through the game, and only a couple got any development past that.

The ending was also incredibly unsatisfying. It does a major plot dump on you, and then it just kind of ends before it resolves anything. All of the jumping around that they imply you did is unnecessary, and feels like it was just put in to confuse the ending. Also, how did no one other than Phi realize they could jump really high? That would have happened practically automatically. I didn't really enjoy the first game either, but at least it concluded in a satisfying manner.

It also was really derivative of Danganronpa in some strange ways. They really should have dropped Zero Jr., since he didn't really do anything at all past the first three or so hours of the game. He just showed up, dropped some rules, and then never showed up again. It just felt like they dropped a thread.

All in all, this probably would have been a more satisfying plot if it were 10 hours long, not 20.
