Dream Theater - Panic Attack (Cover)
352Oh hi, hello, salutations. This thing has been rotting in my hard-drive unfinished for over a year (!!!) now, because I was having perfectionism issues, but eventually I was like "enough is enough" and got the rest of it done. I remember being obsessed with this song as a teenager and always wanting to cover it since as far back as like 2010 and I'm really excited and satisfied to have done that now! :D
The amount of work that went into this was dumb, way too much lmao. It was also a really tough mix because of the density of guitars, and having to do those drums and time signature changes had my brain like *electrical short noises*, but this also made it great learning experience.
Some misc points:
1. The instruments here are all virtual midi instruments, not real ones.
2. A big section of the solo is cut out because I don't have a good enough sounding guitar fake to work with solo-ing. I tried to get a synth to do it instead and I think it works well enough to leave a section in.
Still really proud of this tho. Definitely the most work that I've put into something since Devil Trigger lol
