What's YOUR favorite MetroidVania game!? Mine is Shadow Complex! Izzy Intrepid, the game showcased in this video, is a nice Shantae, WonderBoy, Henry Hatsworth, style game, well worth playing. You can even switch costumes, later on, like in WonderBoy...becoming a Ninja, and so on!!!

Homebrew games can be very hit and miss, as far as running well or at all on the Mini Classics. So, an exploit has been worked in to allow "slingshot TurboBoost", which will be even more improved for Next Update! I have already implemented this exploit, as of the last Releases. BUT, it won't run as well as in THIS particular video, at least until the Next Update! Essentially, you need to start at the base number of "0", then select "6" as frame skip, resume game, allow it to run for a few seconds, then select "0", "1", or "2", for an immediate TurboBoost.

In the case of Intrepid Izzy, on the first boss, the sound stutters horribly, normally. The Slingshot Turbo Boost rectifies this, even if set back to "0" once you do "6". Think of it as a rubber band, or slingshot, or revving engine while in park...Moment you let go, wala, Slingshot TurboBoost:)

This Slingshot TurboBoost makes it possible to run games that previously had major performance issues, such as Sonic Adventure 1 and 2, even on the default MD Mini Classic at 1.008 Ghz Clock Speed!

Thanks MagnusRC for letting me even know this game existed! It adds to the already great collection of other Dreamcast Fanmade/Homebrews, such as Volgarr the Viking, Gunlord, and Sturmwind!

I will showcase more of these in future videos! No exact ETA for Release. When things are at a comfortable and stable spot, likely near the upcoming Holidays, I should be able to post it around then! Other updates will include improved HD PS1, better Sega 32X performance and speed, and so on:)
