In this chapter, we rejoin Zoë, now recuperating at home after being caught up in Nela's blast. After venturing once more into the uncertainties of Dreamtime and once again meeting Abnaxus, as well as yet another friend from the past, Zoë is suddenly attacked by EYEs, rescued by a mysterious agent, and finds herself running for her life through the sewer system of Propast with a helpful Hanna at her side. She then learns the truth about Nela's motives and collects important evidence from Mr. London's warehouse that could exhonerate Nela and overall turn the tide in the good guys' favor.
